As strange as this may seem, these are questions that some men ask just
to make sure they're on the right track. If you shave daily or own an expensive
razor, a question on how to reduce the number of blades would have crossed your
mind severally. So 1, 2, 3, or 4, what is the ideal number to use per shave?
There's absolutely no straight answer to this. It depends on several factors
like the thickness or coarseness of the hair, type of razor, sharpness, and so
on.
A good, sharp blade should be able to take care of all your stubble in
one use. Most of today's brands even go as far as including extra blades
because they want their customers to have a good shaving experience. A good
example of such product is the Vikings Blade. Depending on the coarseness of
the hair, a razor blade can be used up to 7 times before it becomes dull. If
your blades get dull affect one use, there's no need keeping it for another.
Dispose of it and replace with a sharper blade. If you are a heavy shaver and
use lots of blades, you may want to consider switching to an inexpensive razor
like the Vikings Blade.
